Who we are

Procurement Services focuses on Strategic Procurement, a combination of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, spend management, and business analytics to enhance Rensselaer's ability to allocate its resources and bring value to our stakeholders. Procurement Services has earned the Institute a national reputation for excellence in higher education procurement. The National Procurement Institute has honored Rensselaer Procurement with the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award 14 times since 2007.

OUR MISSION

Procurement Services assists the Rensselaer community with the purchasing and acquisition of materials, services, supplies and equipment. We aim to provide responsive, efficient, and timely acquisition of quality products and services at fair and reasonable pricing, consistent with Institute requirements and federal guidelines.

VISION

To be a strategic partner to the Rensselaer community, providing procurement and associated service solutions to support the goals and objectives of The Rensselaer Plan 2024 and beyond.
